I can't connect to the network [Montage, Montage Mini]

This article applies to: Montage Linux box, Montage Mini, Montage LiteMontage Windows Receiver

There could be a number of reasons for not being able to connect to the network;

  • The settings require manual configuration (e.g. static IP)
  • Some or all of the ports used by Montage are blocked by a firewall
  • The MAC address of new network devices have been automatically blacklisted (Mac address is available in Montage settings)
  • The network is behind a proxy (this can be configured in Montage Linux box)
