How can my device connect and share my screen if I am not on the same network as the Montage board?

This can be done over the Cloud using the DisplayNote servers. This requires an active internet connect and will allow users from an outside network to connect to the Montage app. For example, a Windows device on a remote network can connect to Montage on the company LAN.

With Cloud services enabled, users can connect to a dynamic 6 digit session ID. This will change with each new session to enhance security.

This can be restricted by enabling 'Local connection only' in your Montage security settings. Local connections only will use a static 10 digit session ID. More info on this option can be found here.

DisplayNote uses Amazon Web Service (AWS) to host and support the cloud connections. AWS is a trusted provider of cloud services managed by Amazon. This is run under a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) which is protected by Amazon's firewall.
