Overview 

In this version we’ve focus on a number of internal tasks that will help us develop and release future versions faster and more efficiently. We also address a number of issues that have been problematic with certain customers, namely a long delay on startup of our application while in kiosk mode. 

Additionally, we’ve added an improvement to Launcher in the form of Bluetooth detection, and we’ve made Launcher mobile iOS apps more battery efficient. 

Functionality, features and improvements

• Improved our deployment process for more effective and streamlined
  management of releases.
• Introduced a function whereby Launcher can detect whether the device supports
  Bluetooth, and feed back to the user accordingly via the UI.
• Improved the launch of Webex meetings for devices with the Webex native
  application installed and set up on the Launcher home screen.

Fixes to bugs and defects

• Fixed a problem whereby the room calendar would not be shown when
  experiencing connection issues with the server.
• Fixed an issue with kiosk mode that would allow users to access the Windows file
  system when plugging in a USB stick into the device.
• Fixed a critical issue whereby systems with Active Directory and large volumes of
  users would experience a long delay during application startup.
• Fixed an issue whereby a certain format of Webex meeting links would not be
  recognised by Launcher.
• Fixed an issue whereby error messages would be shown when interacting with
  the keyboard while performing certain tasks.
• Fixed a critical issue that would cause the application to crash when trying to add
  certain web links.
• Fixed a problem with the install and update mechanism whereby the application
  would not automatically open when install or update is applied.
• Fixed an issue whereby Bluetooth would always be in use when importing a
  settings file.

• Improved battery usage for iOS devices while the application is in the background
  and not connected to Launcher

Fixes to bugs and defects

• Fixed an issue whereby certain Webex meetings could not be launched with one
  touch, as intended.
• Fixed a problem whereby the mobile application could not reconnect to
  messaging servers after sitting in the background for some time.
• Fixed an issue that would cause the application to show a loading icon for
  extended periods of time when disconnecting from Launcher.
