Broadcast requires an active internet connection. Depending on if you are Broadcasting from the Web, Windows or Android applications will change the network requirements.
Web and Android Applications
If you are using www.broadcast.online or the Android application as the Broadcaster the only network requirement is that:
Port: 443 is open
Other than that, Broadcast should just work on your network.
Windows
If you have a firewall or other security on your network you must be able to access the following ports and addresses:
Ports:
- TCP 80, 443, 3478, 5379, 19305 and 19307
- UDP 0-65535
The following endpoints are used:
- 443 TCP: 178.128.200.49
- Media server: 139.59.147.57
- Stun/turn server: 46.101.217.109
Possible IP range
Due to how Broadcast adapts its server requirements to make sure users get the best possible experience there is a large range of potential IP addresses that Broadcast may use. If you need to whitelist all addresses please refer to the following ranges. Broadcast adaptive IP range
