I cannot connect via Miracast

If your device has Miracast capabilities, please ensure the that Miracast is enabled in the settings panel.

Miracast network information

Miracast works in Wi-Fi Direct (WFD) mode, which generates a peer-to-peer (P2P) connection where client device connects directly to the screen share app without any additional network infrastructure.

Assigned IPs are normally under the range of Wi-Fi Direct and must not be blocked by firewall, that range is 192.168.49.0/24

The port used to establish and manage sessions is the WFD control port, TCP 7236.

(Then it will use a free and non privileged random UDP port for any of available ones to stream video and audio. (1024- 65534))
