Network & connections settings for a Montage device

The Network & connections tab controls how a Montage device is discovered on the network and which wireless casting protocols it accepts.

Where to find it

In DisplayNote Manage, go to Montage > Devices, select the settings (gear) icon on the device, then select Network & connections.

Available options

• Discover this display — On/Off. Controls whether the device is discoverable by other apps and devices on the network that are searching for a Montage receiver to present to.
• AirPlay receiver — allows Apple devices to connect and present using AirPlay.
• Google Cast receiver — allows Android and Chrome devices to connect and present using Google Cast.
• Cloud connections — allows the device to accept connections routed via DisplayNote's cloud service, rather than only over the local network (see also Security > Local connections only).

Saving your changes

Select Apply changes at the bottom of the page to push updates to the device, or Cancel to discard them.
